Safeguarding Foundation Course – Schools
This is a foundation level course for anyone working or having contact with children in a paid or voluntary capacity in schools who needs to understand how to recognise and respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns.
The course provides all necessary information to allow delegates to recognise the signs and indicators of abuse or neglect, respond appropriately to ensure protection measures can be considered and applied if necessary and to record and report their concerns to the school designated safeguarding lead.
This course is constantly updated to ensure content corresponds to developments in the field of child safeguarding.
On completion of this course delegates receive free ongoing support for the year and have unlimited access to our 24/7 advice line. They will receive updates in the form of emails, newsletters and/or blog posts. Delegates can also access a range of elearning courses relevant to their work environment.
This course should be undertaken on an annual basis to ensure delegates remain fully conversant and familiar with expected standards in child protection.
Delegates are required to complete a short elearning course prior to attendance.
